Story

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is a game set in the fictional city of Vice City in 1986, where the player takes on the role of Tommy Vercetti, a former member of the Forelli crime family. After being released from prison, Tommy is sent to Vice City to work for his old boss Sonny Forelli. However, things go awry when a drug deal goes wrong, and Tommy is left with both no money and no drugs. Tommy then begins to work his way up the criminal ladder of Vice City, building his own empire by taking over businesses and gaining allies, all while being pursued by both the police and rival gangs.
